Goals

It is the Forum’s hope that this process would also foster socialization skills for the victims and bullies. Lastly, the surveys would adapt as needs/times/circumstances change.

1. One of the Forum’s goals is to establish a regular, ongoing system of measuring the experience and perception of safety as it pertains to the interactions between students and their peers and with staff in the school environment. Ideally, the survey would be conducted each spring for review and assessment.

2. The resulting data and annual analysis would be used as a resource for positive change, specifically, with the intent to develop programs, initiatives and to generate awareness within each school building and the district as a whole, ultimately to providing a climate conductive to learning.
